CC:

Have you found a podcatcher that runs right on the 810? I'm still looking for my ideal device that will pull the podcasts from the network on the fly via cell network or wifi. Tall order I know.

Very cool CC. These types of devices I think are going to be extremely popular in the coming years.

I totally want to get one as well. I was shown the N800 at the recent Twitter Meetup in Phoenix, I'm hooked, and the N810 is even better. So I'm glad to hear the deal will last a couple of months at least. Time to get the cash together.

Indeed, Loic Le Meur promised in a past show on Loic.tv that they would be getting Seesmic working on the N810. I'm excited about this as well.

And thanks Ewan for reading the Seesmic blog. Next time, link to one of my posts :) There are plenty there to choose from. Cathy only has the one so far. :)

Wow, this is really good! I've had my eye in an N810, but if I get one it would be in a few months, when I travel. How long is this valid for?

In regards to Seesmic on the N810, the short answer is 'not yet.' The Flash Drivers for the webcam are blahblahblah v1, and Seesmic uses blahblahbalh v2. While you'll be able to watch embedded Seesmic vids on other sites, you won;t be able to log into Seesmic itself.

As a temporary measure, registered Seesmic users can use Kosso's Seesmic Search at http://imadethis.tv/seesmicsearch/index.php

Given that work is going on for various mobile versions (as mentioned by Seesmic), and that Seesmic is going to Demo in feb and showcase new features there (cf Seesmic Blog and Cathy Brooks http://seesmic.typepad.com/en/2008/01/being-demonstra.html) maybe we won;t have to hold our breath that long...

CC - Thanks for sharing the coupon code! Personally, I'm still on the fence about getting one, but the strong developer community makes things very exciting for this line of Nokia devices.

Seesmic will definitely be cool on it as well. I don't think it currently works, but I did see Loic on a recent Seesmic diary episode mentioning that they are aiming to have it working on the 810 in the near future - very exciting!
