Matthew Ebel Live From My Basement
On Sunday my buddy Matthew came over for dinner now that he is living in the Boston area. Of course, the kids made a special request for him to play something on the keyboard in the basement and he was nice enough to oblige.
Pardon the mess. Earlier in the day we had 10 nine year old boys over for Dylan’s birthday party and they pretty much trashed the basement which is where the video games are.
This song is from his new CD Goodbye Planet Earth which I highly recommend.

Oh, I got permission from him right after I filmed it to post. I always ask, but it is funny how he says that right at the beginning of the video.

C.C. - loved the performance…this song is really growing on me after hearing it a few times on Accident Hash (I think it’s just been on the one time, but I listened a few times). This album will probably be my first Matthew Ebel purchase. Loved the live performance of it amid the basement toys. It actually felt very appropriate, for some reason. And I would have loved to have been there for the “I’ll tell you about that later” stories that might have followed…

Very cool CC!!!! You gotta love a You Tube clip that starts out with “This better not end up on YouTube tomorrow!” You guys having Matthew up there is just one extra reason that I will continue to miss Boston.
