Our resident community specialist Christina helped organize games of online trivia using our client’s service TriviaOnNet.
I’ve been having a good time playing this through Facebook and on the web, but it is SO much more fun playing against people you actually know. This was the first time I’ve done that and it certainly makes it more engaging as you see someone pull ahead of you in a game and you actually know them.
Early morning though was a tough time so I think next time we’ll have to do it at night. Opens it up to more people and allows people to have a cocktail while playing perhaps.
Chel also raised an interesting idea about how much fun it would be to play in teams. I agree. You could REALLY get some trash talking then. Hmm…

Teams would be great - gathering members that all have strengths in different areas. Adding cocktails into the mix would be *fun*! Gotta get voice integration too if teams ever come into the mix! PS - I kick BUTT in music, sports/movies, not so much…

Morning trivya was totally fun. Though I still can’t believe I got that Nirvana question wrong, and the Hanson question right *slaps forehead*. Looking forward to the next one =)

Playing at night and with teams are really good ideas!
(probably it will be a bit tricky to play from Finland at that time but I love the idea!)

Trash talk is my middle name, although I got beat pretty hard. A local in the chat room made an interesting point that we brought on a nice challenge for them as well. We social media peeps be smart!
I can definitely organize some evening games. Cocktails mandatory?

I loved sneaking in and playing with my coffee before settling down to work. Great fun with great people. I claim Monty for my team if we get groups in the future!

Well that might be because you can play for real cash if you want to. I’ve tried it out and it is fun. Questions feel a bit harder then the free ones, but I did ok at them which was cool. You get a free $5 when you sign up and verify your e-mail so that you can try it out without putting any of your own money in.
