		<description>Not sure if it is even possible for anyone to compile 'green' info at the product (or SKU) level. Greepeace, Epeat and some others do publish corporate level 'green' info. Also, most manufacturers do publish 'energy star' ratings with their products, though I am loathe to think they are a good measure for the 'green-ness' of a given product.</description>

		<description>I don't know how green either of them are, but working in an appliance repair center taught me a lot about the companies that manufacture and which loves their customers more.  I'd say that LG is the best brand and have the best response if something happens to your appliance.  Samsung is one of the more difficult companies to get in touch with.
