PodCamp Montreal

I'm going to PodCamp MontrealI’m just back from the New Media Expo with a head full of thoughts, reactions and other things that will make their way into a blog post or podcast in the near future, but for now I wanted to give a plug for another conference I am going to be attending.

PodCamp Montreal is happening on the weekend of September 20th & 21st.

I’ve been looking for a time to go to Montreal because of the number of friends that I have there. When this came on my radar I was so happy to see that it fit into my schedule!

I’m excited for my first bi-lingual conference and of course presenting with Mitch Joel again is going to make for a good time. How could it not?

    CC, thanks so much for sharing the info about podcamp coming to Montreal on Twitter… I’ve registered and I can’t wait to sit in on your presentation with Mitch Joel.

    I started listening to your podcast about 18 months ago, and I’ve jumped in with both feet, or should I say all 8 fingers and two thumbs to new/social media. In one of the first Managing the Gray podcasts I listened to you gave us all an assignment…to try every new media outlet out there- from facebook, to twitter, to linkedIn, to second life. While I must admit second life wasn’t for me, everything else was, I’m hooked on blogging with my MBA alumni community, I created a facebook group to keep us all in the loop, created a fan page for my program, and I’ve checked out tons of podcasts!!! I’m even setting up a wiki at work.

    All this is to say, keep doing the awesome work you do, you are making an incredible difference with each podcast, tweet and blog entry. I was so happy to listen to your most recent podcast, my iphone was missing your words of wisdom.

    I hope to meet up with you at Podcamp Montréal, maybe we can grab a coffee if you have fifteen minutes to spare.

    Well, it looks like our meeting may be a bit tough!

    We have had no luck in finding a babysitter – so this time it’s my turn!

    I will try to head down on Saturday (with Simon in tow) to meet up with you.

    I will look at the schedule to see when you are not speaking!

    I hope we hook up.
