I'm in the middle of "Million Miles"... the author wrote another book called "Blue Like Jazz" that was eventually made into a movie. I believe this book takes place during the process of making the "Blue Like Jazz" movie (http://www.bluelikejazzthemovie.com/).

I just finished Linchpin and had many of the same thoughts – especially, “It is longer then it needs to be and you’ll find yourself reading similar things over and over again, but this will just make the ideas stick even more then if they were said just once.” Ha ha. Very true. In fact, I'm re-reading it – something I rarely do. This time, I'm coming armed with a pen and stickies to mark down the key stuff. Lots of it seems to be common sense, but dang – great reminders, right?

I haven't read 'Million Miles,' but if it's anything like his bestseller 'Blue Like Jazz,' I'm sure it's great. Really makes you think about life.

I also recently ready Linchpin. I love the concept of your art being a gift and giving gifts to people. It's really changed the way I think about the things that I do.
