thanks for this post…I too love photography and am constantly taking photos (and video), but I’ve never thought of it in the way you framed it…”it keeps the creative vibe going”
Also, your photo is awesome on so many levels: your duds, the farm set (nice wrangling by the way), the carpet and furniture, the tones and colors…
For what it’s worth, I found a great app for my iphone called Hipstamatic that takes really great vintage looking photos…

I TOO always wanted to be an artist, but didn’t think I could make a living at it. I also have a fascination with marketing. In two weeks I will begin a Graphic Design program at my local community college. I’m 51 and finally excited about my future!

When asked, I remember emphatically answering, “I’m going to be a writer!”

I’m not publishing novels today, but I’ve found a way to keep writing on a daily basis at work–from reports and performance reviews to ads–and at home via micro/blogging.

An architect. I always liked to draw buildings. That or a travel writer as I loved to write and I loved to travel to new places. I also wanted to be a movie reviewer because I admired Rodger Ebert so much.

The greatest gift of the Internet is that it allows you to create in any form you are comfortable with. You can write or use audio, video and photos.
