I needed to take a self portrait for a Kickstarter project I backed. I got the idea for a serious shot in black and white and before heading to bead I decided to take the shot.
I had also planned on setting up my lights and doing a full studio session, but just didn’t have the time so I grabbed my S90 and headed into the bathroom to shoot into the mirror there.
While this isn’t the shot that I chose for the book, I really liked how it came out. You’ll almost never see me in a hoodie and even more rare with the hood up. But, I had worn this to the gym and thought it would make for something different. Especially for me.
