Talking Net Neutrality on Fox 25

posted on December 22, 2010

I like that I’ve always been able to explain even the most complex technical stuff in a way that my grandmother could understand. At least I think I can do that most times.

So, when Fox 25 asked me if I could come in and give an overview of what the recent FCC ruling on Net Neutrality was all about I said sure and then made sure I was up to date on the latest. Here is what the segment looked like. I was most psyched that they put a picture of Content Rules up on the screen.

It will be interesting to see how internet regulation continues to develop. Do you think this marks the end of the government’s “hands-off” attitude towards the internet?

Well done on your interview. Content Rules made a great TV appearance!

To be honest I’m not sure what this means. I think it is a given that the
government is going to stick their hands in at some point. I just don’t know
      how much or how soon.

Super cool to see you on TV, C.C. You sounded excellent. Very clear, easy to understand. Would it be odd to say that I’m proud?

Not odd at all my friend. You can say it anytime you want and thank you.

Nice interview. Lots of passion on all sides of the issue and I am sure the next session of Congress will insert themselves into the discussion. BTW, enjoying the book. Continued success!
