Stuck At Home

posted on May 17, 2011

Just a quick update on my health since so many of you have been checking in and asking since my recent and sudden surgery.

I’m feeling much better and while I’m not fully back yet, I’d estimate I’m at about 75% right now.

I had my follow up appointment with my doctor and everything looks great. He did put me on a diet of no travel for the rest of the month which means that my talk at Social Media Club Dallas has been moved to July 21st and I won’t be able to attend BlogWorld Expo in New York City.

While missing these events does suck, I have to admit that after being on the road so much, staying at home for a bit is going to feel good. Even though I do have a massive case of cabin fever right now, I’m making the most of it and working on two different book proposals.

Thank you to everyone who has checked in on me. I’m truly blessed to have so many friends. Afterall who else would send me things like bacon, board games, books, lemons, tech gadgets or chocolate covered bacon to make me feel better?

Hope you keep feeling better.  From all your friends at Digital Influence Group.  (not sure I could go the Chocolate Covered Bacon route, though….)

Ugh…Sorry to hear about your take-it-easy orders…that has to kill for someone like you.  Looking forward to seeing you on the 21st though!!!

Good to hear you’re better. If I raise the funds I need to get to PodCamp Boston this September I’ll have to bring some strawberry wine from Plant City for you. Hey, maybe there’s an “Accident Hash” waiting to be resurrected. ;-)
