My Opening Keynote From TBEX

posted on July 17, 2012

I gave the opening keynote speech at this years TBEX conference in Keystone, Colorado.

TBEX is the largest event in the world focused on travel writing. It was fun to take our Content Rules concepts and apply them directly to the travel and tourism industry.

Plus, I had fun with the title of the presentation because no one knew about my next book yet.

Yesterday, it was announced that I’ll be speaking at TBEX Europe this September in Girona, Spain. I won’t be keynoting, but I’m psyched to check another country off my list and to be part of another great event.

You can find out more information on how you can have me speak at your next event or other ways you can work with me.

I’m always looking for the next great adventure.

Loved the keynote, CC! I put it on my phone and listening to it on the way to work. How’s that for the power of audio and podcasts? There are so many niche blogger categories now it’s amazing – had no idea what TBEX was before this video either.

Glad that you enjoyed it. I saw your tweet earlier about listening.

SO many niche categories out there and yet in my mind the rules we lay out in Content Rules apply to all of them. But, I love having the opportunity to get in front of them and share that with as many as possible.

Great keynote CC, I like your presentation style and how comfortable you are up there. I like the focus you put on listening in your talk, we don’t do enough of that…actually, we suck at it.
