Celebrating My Dad's 60th Birthday in True Chapman Style

Family is the most important thing in my world.

I'll take quality time with those I love over almost anything else in the world and this past weekend certainly qualified as quality time.

My dad turned 60 and we made plans to spend it together as a family.

My youngest sister drove up from Maryland with her dog Bow, so all of the siblings were there.

I'm blessed that our family not only can spend time together, but genuinely enjoy it. We certainly made the most out of a gorgeous weekend by heading up to the Echo Valley in Vermont to burn some brush, eat ham stew and enjoy a quiet afternoon away from the madness of life.

Happy birthday Dad. Glad we could spend the weekend together.
