All About C.C. Chapman

My name is C.C. Chapman and I’m a new media maven and digital dad living in the Metro-West Boston area who loves public speaking and working with people to understand this space.

I’m the Co-Founder and a Managing Partner of The Advance Guard. Formed in October 2007, The Advance Guard is a new media consultancy that creates radical marketing programs using emerging technology and community platforms. Our clients include American Eagle Outfitters, Coca-Cola, HBO, Verizon FiOS, Warner Bros and St. Martin’s Press. We have offices located in New York and Boston.

If you or your company needs some help developing campaigns that leverage the community and conversation of social media, let’s chat and figure out how we can help you.

My Last Picture as a 34 Year OldI’ve been blogging since 2001 and podcasting since 2004. My award winning music podcast Accident Hash shares my love for independent music with a global audience. Managing the Gray is a podcast and blog that I started in order to share my knowledge about new media and technology with anyone who wanted to find out more. I try to keep it low level enough that anyone can get information out of it, while challenging all to move forward. I also from time-to-time will produce a video podcast called One Guy’s Thoughts that serves as another great outlet for me to drop random thoughts into the metaverse.

I helped build the PodSafe Music Network back in 2004. I’m a father of two awesome kids and believe parenting to be the most challenging and rewarding job in the world. I’m a photography enthusiast and usually have my Canon strapped to my hand firing of shots in a rapid fashion. I’ve always loved technology, movies, gadgets and cooking, but my happiest place in the outdoors enjoying nature.

I love public speaking so if you ever need someone who can excite a room and also keep them interested and learning please let me know.

Every day there is a new social network popping up, but here are some links to help you find me elsewhere.
