ANOTHER New Color Added to the Mix

I took this photo of Greg Verdino two weeks ago when we had a company meeting at the coloring book in NYC. At that point it was not public that he was joining crayon and I’ve been ITCHING to post it because it cracks me up on multiple levels. He’s a hell of a guy […]

Virtual Hot Wings

I have always been a lover of hot wings. I still try to go to Wings Express in Waltham whenever I can since we could have lived off of those sometimes when I was in college.
But, this post doesn’t have to do with the honey barbecue variety, but rather the virtual variety.
Read all about Matthew […]

Productive Weekend Makes Me Feel Good

This weekend the sun was shining, the yard was crying for attention and the grill needed to be used! So of course we did it all. Very productive all around. I even recorded another One Guy’s Thoughts while the pork chops were grilling. Click below to watch it.

On top of that I went to [munk]’s […]

Yes To Carrots

I’m really excited about a new client that crayon is working with called Yes to Carrots.
They are a hair and skin care company that is all natural. I’ve seen it called a “wellness product.” The quick and easy description is Dead Sea Mud mixed with carrots, but of course I’m generalizing. Their website does a […]

Life Force

This morning I posed the question “What Is YOUR Life Force?” on the crayon blog.
Ever since I posted it, I’ve been thinking a lot about it. I’ve got several things that drive me.
If you have a second, surf on over and share your thoughts. I’m going to post mine there later.

Winding Up the Trip

Being virtual is fun. Having a company around the globe with people in different parts of the world is fun. But, getting together face-to-face, sharing a drink, sharing emotional conversations and big thinking is even more fun.
For the past two days crayon has been together. We are evolving, changing and looking to the future and […]

Live From the Balcony in NYC

There is something still new and neat to me about New York City because I’ve spent so little time here. You can feel the character of the city the moment you wake up. It doesn’t hurt when you can step out on your balcony and hear the traffic, see the Empire State Building and just […]

CaseCamp Comes to Second Life

Originally uploaded by CC Chapman.
Tonight crayon hosted the first CaseCamp in Second Life and it went very well.
We had some stream issues, but everyone rolled with it and the presenters all did an amazing job. Seen here is Douglas Walker from the World Rock, Paper , Scissors Society.

Crayonville Pool at Night

Originally uploaded by CC Chapman.
I love the lighting effects in this shot.
When I first chatted with Versu about building the island I stressed that I wanted it to look good at night. So many places go dark and I wanted this to have a mood when the sun went down and she hit it perfectly.
The […]

Time For a Drink

Here is a picture from today’s launch of crayon.

It makes me smile for multiple reasons with the biggest one being that it was taken at the end of the highly successful launch of crayon.
The other reason though is because I remember where this all started. June 6th of this year. (yes I had to look […]
