My First Kayak

I love doing anything outdoors. One of my favorite things is to spend the day in a canoe paddling by nature and loving every minute of it.

So, the idea of getting a kayak is both awesome and confusing to me.

You have to understand that when it comes to the world of paddling there are canoe people and there are kayak people. Sort of like dogs vs. cats or Nikon vs. Canon. Having always been a canoe guy, it felt very weird walking into L.L. Bean and buying my first kayak.

I was determined to get it into the water as soon as possible and I brought along my camera to capture the moment.

Many people have asked me which kayak I bought and the model I purchased was the Pungo 140 GEN2 Kayak by Wilderness Systems®. So far I love it and I can’t wait to take it out a bunch more.

After getting three separate messages from people asking me how I thought they could become an expert in social media I turned on the camera and vented a bit in that direction.

Thoughts on MITX, Auto Industry and Stickers

Lots floating around in my head this morning and instead of typing or audio recording I figured I’d ramble to the video camera.

I hit on everything from El Consultador, the MITX awards and the bailout of the auto industry. Oh and I do a little show and tell with Chance’s new CD and my new laptop stickers.

I had the itch to record a quick One Guy’s Thoughts today so I fired up the camera and made it happen.

Creative Funk

I’m full of creative energy, but no time to let it out and put it to use. It was on my mind yesterday quite a bit and I recorded a quick One Guy’s Thoughts about it as I waited for my Mac to reboot after an update. Click on the photo to watch.

I took the photo today for this blog post, but the feeling is still there. Got talking a bit with Clarence about it. We are determined to fix it together. Can’t let creative juices go to waste right? *grin*
