Lunch Break in the Woods

Kid Rock encourages me to slow my roll as the car cruises through the curves of Rt. 135.

There might be a chill in the air, but the windows are down and Roxie is enjoying the wind on her face from the back seat.

When you find yourself without work, a new camera and a beautiful day the call of the wild becomes strong and can't be ignored. The decision was made not to fight it and go for a long walk around Ashland State Park to enjoy the fine day that Mother Nature had provided us.

Instead of the usual trail, I chose one I had never been on and wandered around taking it all in until the rain began to fall and we swung by Snappy Dogs on the way home for a well deserved treat.

Nice days are upon us. Get out there and enjoy them away from a screen.
