Bre Pettis Messed With My Mind at PodCamp Philly

Best part besides meeting people at events like PodCamp Philly is all the fun content that comes out of them. Bre Pettis decided it would be fun to reprogram my mind and Chris Penn captured it all on video.

I can’t begin to explain the weird sensations and color patterns I experienced. The after effects were strange as well. Everyone sounded like they were talking through a bad AM radio connection. Distorted voices. Lots of static. Bre said he had never heard of anyone experiencing that before so he asked lots of questions.

I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

    You had a stranger reaction than me, I just felt really good after it. What colours did you see? I noticed that everyone saw something different.

    While this may be a fun or even useful experience for many people, I’d like to add a word of caution – this can trigger a seizure in persons with a lower-than-normal seizure threshold (e.g., those with a history of seizures might want to avoid it). Flickering light can also cause problems for persons with arrhythmia or those with pacemakers.
