Dear Kids - Please Don't Lose Your Creativity

Pilot PenΒ hired myself and other bloggers to write a post this week by hand as part of their Power to the Pen! initiative. We were sent a variety of pens to try out and also compensated for our participation. If it helps, click on the photo below to see it larger. #ThinkInInk

  • Hear, Hear C.C. This is such an important topic, but it is not the kids who “lose” their creativity, is it adults who structure, order, rule it out fo them. Let’s foster that creativity from childhood into adulthood. Let”s all be more creative and let ourselves doodle, imagine, and daydream every day. Let us all say to our spouses, friends, co-workers, and bosses… we will not let our creative flame be put out. Dreamers Unite! πŸ™‚

    • VERY true on all accounts. Thanks for swinging by and being part of the fun my friend.

  • What a great idea. I would do the same, but I can’t seem to find a pen.
I’m talking to YOU Pilot. πŸ™‚

  • hear hear. I’m having a pen dilemma at the moment and this, besides being a good read, has at the very least made me check out pilot. marketing in action! πŸ˜›

    • I’m sure they will love to read that.

I’ve been using their G2 .05 pen for a long time. When they approached me I had to laugh since I’ve use them for years, but they had no idea.

  • Awesome post, C.C., both in terms of content and also in execution. As a lover of pens and handwriting, it’s fun to see. Thanks for the word about this campaign…. I will look for other similar posts.

    • Thanks man, it was fun to be asked to be part of this. I’m looking forward to what other people write as well.

  • Awesome. I love this. Well said!

  • A wonderful post, CC! You could say that I’m more than a bit obsessed with the concept of creativity and how we lose that urge to make things, as I find myself writing on the topic frequently. What a fun project to be a part of!

  • I did the same, although I had to go out and _buy_ my own pens. πŸ™‚ The irony is that it’s on LiveScribe paper. πŸ™‚
