Interview With Jason McCarthy – Founder of GORUCK

posted on May 29, 2012

You should all know by now that I’m a big fan of the GORUCK brand.

They make top quality gear that works great on the battlefield or for the busy traveler like myself and after a year since buying and beating up my GR1 everywhere I go, I can’t say enough good things about them and their products.

That is why, earlier this year when I had the chance to meet the founder of the company over burgers in New York City I jumped at the chance.

I think Jason’s enthusiasm would inspire anyone and honestly if you’ve got dreams of starting your own company you should listen to his story because he was kind enough to share some great advice with me.

Passion Hit TV was started to share the stories of people who have found a way to make their passions, their livlihoods and this is certainly one of those perfect stories. I mean, how great would it be to drive around the country with your chocolate lab by your side visiting American manufactures, drinking beer in dive bars and running a successful business the whole time. That is exactly what Jason does with GORUCK.

Watch and enjoy!

Great to see a transition from Military to Civilian.

Things are very tight on the Economical side but will add to my want to get list once I close my next two clients a new SLR and a GoRuck since I am always carrying my office into the Puerto Rican Country side.

Being in the military and seeing others not find their calling is something that I see often.

It make me smile and happy that this individual found how to take his experiences in Special forces and make such a solid product.

Once again CC thanks for always putting the spotlight on those who served in the Military!

You are most welcome, it is something that I’ll never stop doing because I don’t think enough people give the brave men and women who serve enough credit. Especially after they leave active service.

Thank you for always consuming what I create and sharing it with others. I appreciate it greatly.

Always sharing great stuff! Was great to see your kids putting those flags up this weekend.

I remember my first visit to Arlington where I was impressed with all the flags that I saw. I wondered how they where put there.

        Thanks again!
