Laura pulled a Grade A MacGyver today when she got home and I was on an overly long conference call. She rigged up a sump pump on the floor, with the hose going up and out the dryer shoot and then patched into another hose to the street. I went down and saw it and just smiled. She had done good. So the basement is drying out, but we'll see what happens in the morning when the sun comes out and my ice skating rink of a back yard thaws out. We'll see what happens. Just have to watch and play it by ear.
A quiet weekend is expected around here for the most part. Laura is heading into work tomorrow and I'll be working a bunch as well. Pile of deadlines next week. Lots of good stuff. Sunday will be family day for sure. I'm going to try to get as much as I can done tonight and tomorrow while Laura isn't around. We'll see how it goes.
I think the only thing that has kept me sane today is the fun of Vlog Deathmatch!
