It was supposed to be a total white out this weekend for my birthday, but instead it started just before midnight on Sunday. It still made for a pretty Sunday morning to wake up to, put on my bean boots and head out to take some pictures.
At the end of the day as the sun was setting it made everything have a very cool purple feel to it so I quickly grabbed the camera to get this picture of the tree in our front yard. I was a couple of minutes late or else it would have been an even better shot. But, I'm glad you can see the lights in the tree out front in the picture.
