Rolling Into the Weekend

Sitting here in the living room with the Today Show, my morning coffee an the laptop. Perfect setting for waking up and blogging. I also just watched a little unboxing video with JC Hutchins that gave me a smile. We've got a bunch of little things to do this weekend so I know the weekend is going to fly by for sure. I'm hoping to get out and do some work in the yard. I'm not that much of a "lawn guy" but with this new house I don't have much of a choice and I'm kind of looking forward to seeing what is popping up and blooming since we've never been here in the spring before. Kind of cool surprises in store I'm sure.

Been thinking a TON about the new media market, podcasting and everything that is going on right now. We are at a shifting point for sure. People are finally waking up and asking some question and getting their heads out of the clouds. Deep discussions that some of us had years ago, I'm now seeing others having. That is a good thing. A very good thing I think.

Tomorrow I think I'm going to be doing some special recording that I'm really looking forward to. We've been trying to do this for a several months and it looks like our schedules are finally going to sync.

Looking forward to getting through this week. I've got an appointment with my accountant. I have NO idea what that is going to go like because of all the changes in my life in the last year. Combine that with having our house on the market since July and we've been very careful with all spending across the board. So this week after finding out what the tax situation is and if we close on the house we can actually stop and move forward. Not to say we start spending, but there are some things we've wanted to take care of for a while and we'll finally be able to (or not).

Yet another soggy Saturday morning. Seems like it'll be perfect for cleaning the house up. Oh joy...
