Snow and Sonicare

We woke up to a beautiful white New England morning today. Forecast is for a total of 10-15 inches by the time this is all done. Certainly a shift from the green grass we were playing whiffle ball on yesterday afternoon. But, it is winter even though it hasn't felt like it for the past few weeks. ToothbrushAs I brushed my teeth this morning I realized I have never blogged about the latest BzzAgent Campaign I'm taking part in. They sent me a free Sonicare FlexCare toothbrush to try out and share my thoughts.

I've always been a manual tooth brush type of guy, not seeing the reason to spend extra money for the same results. I have to say that I'm honestly impressed with it. Laura even bought some extra heads so she could use it and we have booth been using it for about a month now. We'll see the next time I go to the dentist if the results are really any different or not, but it certainly feels like they are.

The one thing that is different about this toothbrush is that it has a built in UV cleaning chamber that zaps away the germs that grow on your brush. I had never thought about this, but it makes sense that it happens. A bit overkill though?  They even set up a website at GermsHappen.com where you can learn more about this. We don't use the chamber a whole bunch, but enough since we figure it is there and it can't hurt any right?

I really love how well this cleans my teeth, but I know I would have never bought one for the price that they sell for because I couldn't justify that. I would have gone with a cheaper model because I think this finally convinced me that powered toothbrushes are the way to go finally. If you own one of these what do you think of it? I haven't looked to see what other BzzAgents might be saying about it.

Our weekend seemed to have been filled with a mix of errands and chill time combined. I had some work going on that wasn't overly intensive, but certainly enough to keep me paying attention to the computer. Football, TV shopping, bird feeders, wash and other things mixed in throughout the days.

The kids are going nuts wanting to go outside and for me to go with them. The plan is to get through the morning of everything I have to do, then go outside and be a silly crazy dad and then do my afternoon meetings. I think I can fit it all in. We'll see.
